As part of Empower Romania Program we’re getting the Workshop ready in order to train the men from Lazareni in carpentry and welding. The ladies are canning apple jam and taking sewing classes while the men are taught to work with wood. The ladies are taught how to use sewing machines, how to cook nutritional meals and how to preserve fruit and veggies for winter.
Update:
The Workshop is finished (see photos bellow) and they guys have started putting their skills into practice. However at this stage we have very minimal equipment to work with. Your donation toward buying equipment will be greatly appreciated!
